Check out this handsome fellow. This is Odie and he WAS my neighbor. Odie went to his forever home today !!! So did my buddy Herman. Herman was in and outta here so fast I didn't even get a picture of him.
So a great big
Adios' to
Odie and Herman
good luck boys. I'll miss ya.
So today was a busy day at Animal Works. Lots of people in and out.
The weather here today was Fantastic; I spent a lot of time outside.
I LOVE the sunshine it feels so good on my fur.
Yesterday I got 3 new toys from one of my friends here at the center. So I spent all day yesterday buried in toys. It was the best. So it was nice to switch it up today and be outside.
Did I mention that we are next to the airport in Alcoa. I love to watch all the planes coming and going. I wonder where all those people are traveling to ?
I wonder if they packed their squeaky toys ?
I heard that one of the dogs from another center was being flown to Arkansas yesterday.
He might have flown right over us here, how neat is that ?
He caught a flight from a nice group of pilots that volunteer their time and planes to help save dogs and get them to places where they can be safe.
Tomorrow is going to be another busy day so I better arrange my toys and get to bed.
It was brought to my attention that I don't give any face time to any of the cats here at the center. So maybe tomorrow I will post one of their "ugly" mugs on here.
Enough for now
Rudy out......
It seems some people were having trouble leaving me comments so I did a little work and I think it is all straightened out. Let me know if you are still having problems.
Will post more later
Goodnight.

Eye Candy

Sorry the picture is so small. Had to get it from our website www.animalworkstn.org.

This little HOTTIE is Charity and she lives across the way from me. Isn't she gorgeous !!!

She is a French Bulldog Chihuahua mix. She is the tiniest little thing. She was so shy when she moved in but is warming up. Hubba Hubba

She is about 1 1/2 in hairless people years so shes the perfect age for someone who doesn't want to do all that puppy nonsense.

She is already spayed up to date on her vaccines and micro chipped. While I would love for her to stay as she is great Rudy eye candy she would really LOVE a forever home.

So did you notice the Secrets in the Sauce button on my page.
I am now a proud SITSta.
Hope they don't mind that I am a boy.
These girls rock.
I have found several nifty blogs from their site.
Plus when the SITS girls stop by they ALWAYS leave me treats.
Gotta LOVE that.

A Great Big Happy Monday

Just wanted to pop on early and wish everyone a Happy Monday.
Will post more adventures later today.
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to leave me a treat.

OK so a bit about me I am 42 years old (that would be 6 in human years) A svelte 9 pounds of pure quivering muscle.I am proud to say that I was man enough to be neutered and proud of it. Not ever man can look this sexy with no testicles. I love squeaky toys, long walks, quiet weekends at home, and drinking piƱa coladas and getting caught in the rain. My turn offs are no squeaky toys and well no squeaky toys about covers it.
I was adopted back in 2006 but my adopters were not very nice to me and left me outside all the time. Because of that I am heartworm positive and my ear tips are a bit ragged from all the fly bites I suffered. Luckily I was removed and returned to Animal Works and am now awaiting my true forever home. I am being treated for the heartworms and am doing well with my treatments. So all is good on that front. I am a little nervous around new people but I warm up quickly and am the life of the party once I get going.
Because I am an "older " dog I am always the last one looked at. I have seen countless neighbors move in and move out while I have been here. Animal Works had an awesome month in January and 37 of my friends went to forever homes. I want to move on to my forever home but being here isn't bad. I have a nice collection of squeaky toys and people who love and play with me. Plus when I shoot them the sexy sneer they melt like butter and give me treats. The good meaty kind. Yum
So enough about me although I could go on forever I am quite the interesting fellow lets hear from you. Leave me some virtual treats why don't ya !!!
So today we are having a BIG vaccine day at Animal Works. Lots of cats and dogs will be in getting their yearly shots. Some will even be micro chipped like me. Did I mention that all of my neighbors are adoptable and that they have like me already been neutered or spayed. Had all their vaccines and have microchips.
So they are ready to move on to their forever homes.
You should totally stop by the Animal Works website and check us out. HeHe

I am trying to take some pictures of my neighbors but so far I haven't been very successful. This is the first one I took. It's Quincy my upstairs neighbor. Nice guy hope he doesn't want to borrow any of my squeaky toys...

Sorry about the picture quality it's harder than you would think to operate a camera when you don't have opposable thumbs.
